We are expanding and seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager will support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing mechanical construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, team‑focused individual with strong technical aptitude and a desire to grow within the mechanical contracting field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing mechanical construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and on-site coordination.
  • Support submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
  • Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and progress reporting.
  • Participate in site visits, project meetings, and inspections.
  • Help ensure projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Contribute to project closeout, including documentation and turnover packages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field (required).
  • 0–3 years of experience in mechanical contracting, engineering, or construction (internships welcome).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or project management software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
